Hi! I’m Megan Sheehan.
You probably guessed by now that I am an actress and that I live and work in LA. You probably also already figured out that I look a lot like Amy Adams (yes, I have heard that before), except when I have curly hair and then people cant figure out who I remind them of.
Since you know all of that, I will tell you some things you probably didn't know about me: like the fact that I worked as a baker in a professional kitchen with no training, other than Martha Stewart and Ina Garten (the TV shows, of course).
I also categorize myself as a “chocolate connoisseur” because, not only do I love the stuff, but I also know more about it than any person really should.
Other than then food stuff, I like to dance… a lot - like a smile comes on my face anytime I am doing it. I am not classically trained, but thats never really gotten in my way. My greatest dancing moment was when I got to swing dance with Bill Nye the Science Guy at a swing club called Lindy Groove (true story). Lin Manuel-Miranda, if you are reading this, yes, I will be in your next project.
I like to call myself an honorary New Yorker because my entire family of later generations is from The Bronx. I have a younger sister, am obsessed with my nephew, am 100% Irish (but do not like beer or potatoes, gasp!). I got the acting bug by way of my dad, Konrad Sheehan, who was a stuntman and actor before I was born. He was the cool guy on roller skated in The Warriors.
I met my husband when I was 17 years old because his dad chose me to be a Rose Princess in The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Everyone called me “Princess Megan Sheehan” for a few months which was pretty cool, except that “PMS” was monogramed on many of my things. I did a lot of public speaking, held a lot of roses, rode on a really cool float in a parade, and came out the other end with a boyfriend who, 10 years later, became my husband. Not bad!
Besides that, my Meyers-Brigs profile is INFJ, and I am a Leo, born in the year of the Fire Rabbit, which makes me a very lucky, passionate redhead!
Thanks for reading!
